Responsibilities:
Care home chef Immediate start
– Oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen
– Plan and execute menus in accordance with customer preferences and dietary restrictions
– Prepare and cook high-quality dishes following standardized recipes and portion sizes
– Ensure food production meets quality standards and is delivered in a timely manner
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed
– Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience:
– Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
— Leadership abilities to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and suppliers
– Understanding of food safety principles and ability to enforce proper hygiene practices
Qualifications: SVQ/NVQ equivalent to hospitality supervision and leadership
Food hygiene certificate level 3
Must have disclosure Scotland
Preparation of textured modified and special medical diet
Knowledge of allergy experience

Salary: £17.00-£18.00 per hour
