Greetings,
I am Shekh Mohammad Saidul Islam from Bangladesh. I completed my B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing in 2018 from North East Nursing College, South Surma, Sylhet, an affiliated college of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. I worked as a senior staff nurse (operation theater) from October 2018 to December 2019 at a corporate hospital named Al Haramain Hospital, and then I joined as a senior staff nurse at North East Medical College and Hospital, where I performed in enormous departments such as the medicine department, the intensive care unit (ICU), and the COVID-19 (ICU) from January 2020 to September 2021. Then I was promoted to Nursing Supervisor at North East Medical College Hospital, South Surma, Sylhet, Bangladesh, and served from August 2021 to February 2022. I have almost 5 years of health and hospital-related work experience. Then I moved to the UK as a skilled worker.

At that time, I had to leave my job due to my grandmother’s illness and my studies. I served as a primary caregiver for her. As a frail woman in the late years of her life, she needed a lot of assistance with most day-today functions. Since I was there more than my parents, who both worked full-time, I took it upon myself to be her caregiver. I had learned how to do household tasks, personal care, paperwork, and maintain personal hygiene at the time.The more time I spent with her, the more I realized that although her body may not function, her mind is an ocean of stories and wisdom waiting to be explored. I will always cherish the time I had with her and the things she taught me. I think it was my great experience as a health care worker.

Now I want to work in the UK. Could you please consider me as a care worker or healthcare assistant or care worker or carer?
