Requirements

Either Male or Female

  • Be a Registered Nurse RNLD/RMN/RGN with a valid NMC pin.
  • You will have at least 6 – 12 months’ experience, with a passion to provide the type of care you would expect for your loved ones.
  • Be a caring and compassionate nurse with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience of Mentorship and a supervisor qualification would be desirable, but are not essential

Responsibilities

  • To work independently, running own diary & managing a caseload.
  • Assessing new client referrals, supporting the operational team to implement the care package, writing person-centred care plans & risk assessments.
  • You have some previous experience working in an agile environment – Think two-week sprints.
  • Ongoing assessment of existing clients, ensuring the highest levels of care is delivered.
  • Regular communication with the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team, acting as the client’s advocate. • Review, auditing and maintenance of clinical documentation. • Monitoring and ensuring the delivery of care is clinically suitable & evidence-based. • Teaching, assessing & delegating skills for HCA and Support Workers. • Work with patients/clients who have a range of clinical & complex needs.
  • Clinical Oversight and Management:
    Provide day-to-day professional supervision and guidance to our nursing and care staff, ensuring all clinical practices meet current standards of care and regulatory expectations.
    Training and Development:
    Design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes for registered nurses and care staff, covering clinical procedures, infection control, medication management, and safeguarding.
    Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    Support audits, review care documentation, and ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate standards, NMC Code of Conduct, and local health partnership policies.
    Workforce Coordination:
    Assist with nurse recruitment, competency checks, and induction. Oversee the allocation of nurses to client placements, ensuring staff are appropriately matched to roles.
    Policy and Best Practice:
    Keep policies and training materials up to date with current legislation and clinical best practice, promoting a culture of safety and continuous learning.
    The Nurse Administrator will play a key leadership role in supporting the safe and effective delivery of our nursing and care services. This role is essential to ensure that our workforce is well-managed, fully trained, and compliant with the professional and regulatory standards required by the Care Inspectorate, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and our clients.

With these responsibilities in mind, the successful candidate must be highly organised with the ability to use their own initiative whilst working within a team, as well as being confident and having the ability to instil confidence in others.
