Job Description

  • Requirements:
  • Must have NMC Registration
  • You will have at least 6 – 12 months’ experience, with a passion to provide the type of care you would expect for your loved ones.
  • Be a caring and compassionate nurse with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience of Mentorship and a supervisor qualification would be desirable, but are not essential
  • Training will be provided

Responsibilities:

  • Managing budgets and finances which are related to the nursing agency staff
  • Working alongside with care homes  and other staff to coordinate meetings and to assist care homes with agency staffing
  • Managing the booking system and allocating shifts to staff
  • Managing paperwork such as time sheets
  • Mentoring and providing leadership to nursing agency staff
  • Creating work schedules for the nursing staff
  • Recruiting, retaining, and evaluating nursing staff
  • Developing educational programs that are designed to improve efficiency and efficacy of patient care
  • Overseeing inventory of invoices and timesheet
  • Overseeing day to day operations within the agency
  • Acting as a liaison between nursing staff, Directing nurses, and upper management
  • Training the nursing staff
  • Implementing disciplinary actions when needed
  • Coordinating treatment plans by delegating individual tasks to RNs within the department
  • Promoting the advancement of nursing staff
  • Regular communication with the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team, acting as the client’s advocate.
  • • Review, auditing and maintenance of clinical documentation. • Monitoring and ensuring the delivery of care is clinically suitable & evidence-based.
  • Monitoring staff pay and time sheets, uploading invoices.
  • determines staffing, financial, material and other short- and long-term requirements;
  • ensures that adequate reserves of merchandise are held and that stock keeping is carried out efficiently;
  • authorises payment for supplies received and decides on vending price and credit terms;
  • examines quality of merchandise and ensures that effective use is made of advertising and display facilities;
  • manages agencies to provide services out-sourced by other organisations and businesses;
  • ensures maintenance of appropriate service levels to meet the objectives of the business.

Annual income: £33000 per Annum

Hours: Full time
